Support for NHS England’s ‘Help Us, Help You’ Cancer Text Campaign – February & March 2025
We are asking for your support in NHS England’s ‘Help Us, Help You’ Cancer Text Campaign for February and March 2025. This important initiative is designed to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of cancer and encourage patients to contact their GP if they have concerns about potential cancer-related symptoms.

As part of the ‘Reducing Cancer Barriers’ phase of the campaign, we aim to address common concerns that prevent people from seeking help, such as the fear of receiving a cancer diagnosis. The campaign also encourages increased body awareness to help you recognize any changes that could indicate cancer.
If you are aged 18 or over (excluding those on palliative care), we encourage you to contact your GP if you notice any concerning symptoms. Early detection is key to receiving a timely diagnosis and improving your chances for successful treatment.
You may receive text messages as part of this campaign, prompting you to take proactive steps in seeking medical advice.
Please remember, receiving a message does not mean you have cancer. It’s simply a reminder to be aware of your health and to check any concerns early. Taking precautions and staying aware of changes in your body can make a significant difference in your health outcomes.
