Breast Screening: Help Us, Help You
The NHS in England has recently launched a new phase of the ‘Help Us, Help You’ campaign on 17th February to encourage women across the country to attend their breast screening appointments when invited. Regular breast screening is one of the most effective ways to detect cancers that are too small to feel or see, and it plays a crucial role in early detection.

Breast screening saves approximately 1,300 lives every year in the UK. By attending your appointment, you are helping to ensure that any potential issues are spotted early, when treatment is most effective.
The screening is available to women aged 50-70, and appointments will be sent to those who are eligible. It’s important to attend these screenings, as they can significantly reduce the risks associated with breast cancer by identifying it early.
We encourage all our patients to take part in this life-saving initiative. If you have received your invitation, please make sure to attend and help us help you stay healthy.
