🏡Housebound Patients

We understand that some patients may be unable to attend the surgery due to being housebound. If you are permanently housebound or have significant mobility difficulties, you may be eligible for care at home.

  • Home Visits – If you are housebound and require a doctor or nurse, please contact the surgery so that visits can be arranged.
  • Telephone & Video Consultations – In many cases, our clinicians can provide advice, reviews, and follow-ups over the phone or by video call, reducing the need for travel.
  • Medication Delivery – Many local pharmacies offer a delivery service for housebound patients. Please speak to your pharmacy directly if this would be helpful.
  • Carers & Family – If you have a carer or family member supporting you, they can contact us on your behalf if you give consent.

If you are, or believe you may be, housebound and need additional support, please let our reception team know so we can update your medical records and ensure the right care is arranged for you.

🩺Palliative Care Service

We understand that patients with life-limiting conditions may need specialised care and support.Our palliative care service is here to help you and your loved ones manage symptoms, improve comfort, and maintain dignity during this stage of life. Care may be provided at home if you are housebound or have significant mobility difficulties.

  • Managing pain and other symptoms to keep you as comfortable as possible.
  • Providing emotional support for you and your family.
  • Coordinating with district nurses, hospices, and specialist teams.
  • Ensuring your care wishes and preferences are respected.

If you or someone you care for may require palliative support, please let our reception team know. We can update your medical records and ensure you are referred to the right services.
