Digital Health Inclusion: Empowering Our Community!

Bridging the Digital Gap.

We’re celebrating a fantastic week of digital discovery where our patients took charge of their health journey using the latest tools and technology!

These sessions were designed to tackle digital exclusion in healthcare by providing a friendly, supportive environment where patients could learn to navigate the digital tools that make managing health faster and more convenient.

Step-by-Step Digital Support

During the events, our team provided personalized, one-to-one walk-throughs to help patients get the most out of our online GP services.

We focused on:

  • The NHS App: Helping patients with NHS App registration, ordering repeat prescriptions online, and viewing secure medical records.
  • AiLeen, Our AI Assistant: Demonstrating how to use AiLeen on WhatsApp and our website for 24/7 health information and practice guidance.
  • e-Consult: Showing patients how to submit an online consultation for medical or administrative queries to save time and avoid long phone queues.
  • Website Navigation: Ensuring everyone knows how to find the latest health resources and practice updates on our official website.

Expert Guidance from Our Team

The success of these events was down to the hard work of our dedicated staff. Meghan, our Care Co-ordinator, provided patient, hands-on support to ensure everyone felt comfortable with the technology. Deena, our Digital Marketing Apprentice, was also on hand to showcase how our digital platforms, like AiLeen, can improve the patient experience and streamline communication with the surgery.

Look Out for Our Next Event in the New Year!

If you missed these sessions, don’t worry! Due to the fantastic feedback, we are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting another Digital Health Inclusion Event in the New Year. We want to make sure all our patients have the opportunity to become “digital-ready.”
