Baby Loss Awareness Week. 9th to 15th October 2025.
This week provides space for reflection, remembrance, and open conversation helping to break the silence and stigma that too often surrounds baby loss. It also highlights the importance of providing compassionate care and support to every family who experiences this kind of loss.
How You Can Take Part
Throughout the week, parents, families, healthcare professionals, and communities across the UK will be:
- Lighting candles and buildings in pink and blue to raise awareness
- Taking part in local and national remembrance events
- Sharing stories and experiences to offer support and understanding
- Joining the Wave of Light on Tuesday 15th October at 7pm, by lighting a candle and leaving it burning for one hour in memory of all the babies gone too soon
- Support and Resources
If you or someone you know has been affected by baby loss, support is available:
These organisations provide emotional support, practical guidance, and information on remembrance activities throughout the week.
