Baby Loss Awareness Week

Every year, from 9th to 15th October, we come together to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week, a time to remember and honour the babies who are no longer with us, and to support families affected by pregnancy and baby loss.

How You Can Take Part

Throughout the week, parents, families, healthcare professionals, and communities across the UK will be:

  • Lighting candles and buildings in pink and blue to raise awareness
  • Taking part in local and national remembrance events
  • Sharing stories and experiences to offer support and understanding
  • Joining the Wave of Light on Tuesday 15th October at 7pm, by lighting a candle and leaving it burning for one hour in memory of all the babies gone too soon
  • Support and Resources

If you or someone you know has been affected by baby loss, support is available:

These organisations provide emotional support, practical guidance, and information on remembrance activities throughout the week.
