CNWL Talking Therapies Services


Talking therapies can help all sorts of people in lots of different situations. You may also hear them referred to as talking treatments or psychological therapies. Talking therapy is for anyone who's going through a bad time or has emotional problems they can't sort out on their own.
 
For many adults, they may be the same or more effective than medication.

CNWL ( Central and North West London) Talking Therapies Service  provides a range of talking therapies for people who feel anxious and worried or down and depressed.

Around one in five people suffers from anxiety or depression every year, and talking therapies provide people with support and treatment to overcome these difficulties. If you think you might be anxious or depressed, then you can refer yourself by:

  • Register online and submit the form, they will contact you to arrange a telephone screening appointment to assess your suitability for their services.
  • Alternatively, you can send an email on cnw-tr.brent.iapt@nhs.net if you prefer paper registration form, they can either email or post the form to you, and you will return it back to them. Again, once they receive it, they will contact you to arrange a telephone screening appointment to assess your suitability for their services.

     

Counselling Service

Counselling can help you make sense of your life, resolve specific problems, help you make decisions, help you deal with phobia, stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, addictions, abuse, bereavement, divorce or separation, conflict with others, relationships, and many other issues affecting emotional and mental well-being.

EACH Counsellor

EACH is for people with an alcohol or mental health problem: including their partners and families.

Psychologist

Psychologists can help mentally and emotionally disturbed people adjust to life and may help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
