Missed Appointments In 2025
Between January and June 2025, 1,280 appointments were missed and not cancelled. An average of over 210 every month. This wastes NHS resources and prevents other patients from being seen.
We kindly remind patients to:
- Cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend.
- Use the three reminders we send to keep track of your booking.
- Be aware that missed appointments are recorded as DNAs.
For step-by-step help with cancelling, you can use Aileen, our AI assistant, available on the bottom right of the homepage.
By cancelling in good time, you help ensure fair access to care for everyone.
