Preventing and relieving homelessness for single people in Brent

The Single Homeless Prevention Service (SHPS) Brent is a collaboration between a group of organisations with a common goal: to prevent and relieve homelessness for single people in Brent aged 18 and over.

The service provides support to those who are threatened with homelessness and is run in partnership with the London borough of Brent. They refer people to the service for support with their housing needs in line with the objectives under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

We have two core delivery partners: Crisis and Thames Reach. Together, these organisations have over 80 years’ experience of working in the homelessness sector, engaging and supporting people to secure and sustain accommodation suitable for them.

Our mission is to prevent homelessness, improve overall well-being for those worked with and to reduce social and economic exclusion. For additional information you can visit the SHPSBrent website, or you can download the PDF files.
